We Remember

We remember the 27 children and adults whose lives were cut short so tragically in Newtown on Friday, December 14th. We pray for and stand in solidarity with their parents, families, friends, teachers, co-workers, administrators and the first responders and medical personnel who tended to the victims. May Jesus, the Prince of Peace, bring an end to all violence and establish his gift of lasting peace in our hearts, our communities, our world.

Federal Edict on Health Care Insurance violates Religious Freedom
Archdiocese of Hartford

The Most Reverend Henry J. Mansell, Archbishop of Hartford, has written an open letter to all parishoners in the Archdiocese of Hartford, asking for your support in reversing the new federal health care insurance edict, which will require that all employers (with few exceptions) pay for certain medical procedures and medications. As written, it violates our First Amendment right to freedom of religion, and is therefore unconstitutional.

Please click "READ MORE" below to go to the letter, and a list of Connecticut's U.S Senators and U.S Representatives contact information.

Planned Giving
Planned Giving

Making a planned gift is one of the most effective ways that you can help to insure the long-term growth and financial stability of St. Bridget Church. A planned gift often allows you to pass any amount or item you wish to St. Bridget Church without paying an estate tax. For information on bequests, charitable gift annuities, and other ways to add St. Bridget Church to your estate plans, please contact our Business Manager, Jim Giangreco at (860) 643-2403, X-12.

Gift cards will be available to purchase on the FIRST AND THIRD SUNDAY'S OF EACH MONTH, after the 7:30 AM Mass and prior to the 9 AM weekend Mass in the back of the church.  Use these cards to give as a gift, or to pay for your regular every day purchases. Our St. Bridget School will earn anywhere from 2% to 15% on each card purchased.
